The luxury Swiss watch and clock manufacturer Jaeger-LeCoultre was founded in 1833 in Le Sentier Switzerland by Antoine LeCoultre.
Jaeger-LeCoultre has made over a hundred inventions and has made some thousands watch movements in her existence. Jaeger-LeCoultre has made the smallest mechanical movement, caliber 101, with a total weight of just one gram using just 98 parts (in 1929 the caliber 101 consisted of 74 parts). With the LeCoultre caliber 145 it has produced the thinnest movement (1.38mm thick). Jaeger-LeCoultre also has managed to make a near-perputual clock, the Atmos, which is powered through small differences in temperature and atmospheric pressure.
The watches of Jaeger-LeCoultre are not only unique because of their movement, but the designs are also classic, timeless and iconic, like The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso watches, where the case can be turned to around in order to protect the watch glass from the impact of polo ball.
